Solutions By Design II, LLC awarded spot on General Services Administration Alliant 2 Small Business Contact Vehicle
VIRGINIA, February 14, 2018 – Solutions By Design II, LLC (SBD) is pleased to announce that the General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded the company a spot on its 10-year, $15 billion Alliant 2 Small Business (A2SB) Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The A2SB GWAC is a Multiple Award, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide customized Information Technology (IT) services and IT services-based solutions across the federal government. A2SB gives federal agencies access to 81 small businesses providing integrated IT solutions creating the ability to stay on the forefront of the emerging IT landscape.
Similar to Alliant Small Business (ASB), this Next-Generation GWAC will include:
- A highly qualified pool of industry partners;
- A robust scope aligned with the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) and Department of Defense Information Enterprise Architecture (DoD IEA);
- Access to a full range of comprehensive IT services and IT services-based solutions;
- Flexibility as emerging technologies and the definition of IT evolve;
- Ancillary support (non-IT) permitted when it is integral to, and necessary for, the IT services-based outcome;
- Open Season provision to competitively award to additional highly qualified IT contractors;
- A full spectrum of contract types, including cost reimbursement;
- Worldwide coverage; and
- Complimentary scope-compatibility reviews.
GSA is looking to build off of the success of ASB and create a contract vehicle that provides a total solution for agencies’ requirements while maximizing opportunities for small businesses.
SBD is also a current awardee on the ASB GWAC as the Founding and Managing Member of SBD Alliant, LLC (SBDA). SBDA is one of the most successful organizations in the ASB program that was able to successfully recertify as small business during the 5-year option period. Throughout the life of the vehicle, SBDA has been awarded 20 Task Orders valued at over $450M across 14 different agencies, ranking us 5th in terms of channeling work to the ASB vehicle.

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has designated A2SB as the “best-in-class” solution for information technology services. The preferred Governmentwide solution gives government customers access to pre-vetted contract solutions, supports migration to mature and market-proven solutions, and increases available transactional and reporting data to optimize its buying behavior and budget.
