October 2008 (Vienna, VA) – The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) awarded Solutions By Design II, LLC (SBD) the Information Technology Operations Division (ITOD) Task Order Contract (ITOC) as one of their preferred vendors. This new contract succeeds the former Technology Support and Development Project (TSDP) contract. ITOC is a $175,000,000 IDIQ Task Order (TO) contract permitting FBI to procure a full range of operational information technology support services. The contract has a performance period that runs through September of 2013.
SBD was awarded all 16 functional areas in which to support FBI. "Being awarded all the Functional Areas allows SBD and our Teammates to apply the breath and depth of our combined capabilities and technical resources in support of ITOD." said SBD's Managing Principal Cida Goldbach.
The functional areas in which SBD is eligible to support the FBI include:
"We knew SBD, with our consistent performance and our reputation of exceeding our customer's expectations, could support the FBI, but we also knew we would need a strong team to receive an award." added Ms. Goldbach. Our team is comprised of Quotient, Inc, Information Innovators, Inc, Endeavor Systems, Inc., ISYS Technologies, Inc., Computer World Services, Corp., and Peterson Burnett Technologies. "We wanted a strong team to ensure that ITOD had access to quality organizations with the capabilities, resources, past performance, and expertise that would directly and substantially advance our partnership with the FBI. Our team has the specific IT service expertise and experience relevant to the scope of the contract. Most importantly, the majority of our team has worked with each other on other projects. We have established relationships and have been successful working together on other endeavors. We complement each other and its a win-win for all parties involved."
