SBD Quality Assurance Strategy

With our internal reporting systems tracking finances and periods of performance coupled with our PMs performing their own comparisons with PMPs, we have a 100% track record for monitoring our performance. Also, we assign a senior technical specialist to all projects to monitor and ensure technical quality and excellence. SBD understands that we are solely responsible for the quality of services to be provided under this contract. Our continued success and growth in the government professional services business can be directly attributed to our reputation for the highest quality of performance and we are committed to maintaining that standard of excellence, in particular throughout this contract’s life cycle. Therefore, we have structured our organization, assigned functional responsibilities and established company procedures with quality and customer satisfaction as the focal point. 

Our goal is to achieve CMMi L2-3 on our contract. 

To provide world-class quality services and products, we employ the following practices on our tack orders: 

  • Prepare QA Plans (QAP) specific to Task Order Execution and monitor Task Order performance against the QAP 
  • Conduct review all deliverables and project artifacts Collect and report metrics on product and process quality 
  • Prepare defect reports that are transmitted to the originator of the deliverable, the Task and Project Manager and, on a monthly basis,  our QA Task Order Manager 
  • Periodically audit SeaPort-e contract processes and report results to the Project Manager and our QA Task Manager 
  • Facilitate process improvement efforts on the SeaPort-e contract 
  • Review test documentation and periodically audit test activities 
  • Audit SeaPort-e contract activities against their documented plans, processes and procedures 
  • Provide proactive consultation and training to task order staff to prevent defects from occurring 
  • Coordinate with the technical staff and QA staff to resolve quality issues 
  • Collect and report metrics on product and process quality
