Solutions By Design II, LLC continues support of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of Lender Activities & Program Compliance
Vienna, Va. – June 1, 2017 – Solutions By Design II, LLC (SBD) is pleased to announce it was awarded a task order to support the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Lender Activities & Program Compliance (OLAPC). SBD will continue its support for HUD’s critical regulatory and oversight systems in support of the Department’s mission to build accessible and affordable communities.
Under the contract, SBD provides value to HUD in the form of technical services to ensure successful business steady state operations and maintenance of the programs in OLAPC. These services will include fixes to problem reports, development of changes and enhancements to the systems in response to regulatory, statutory, and legislative changes, and assistance to HUD staff in completion of scheduled Enterprise Architecture and software upgrades as identified by the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).
OLAPC is responsible for administering various risk management activities related to Federal Housing Administration (FHA) approved lenders. Specifically, they perform workload tracking, management, and reporting of incoming application and recertification packages by mortgagees/lenders; store final imaged documents generated as a result of compliance monitoring reviews, Office of Inspector General (OIG) audits, and referrals; and identify and measure potential risk factors posed by lenders to the insured portfolio.
