Vienna, Va. – May 5, 2020 – SBD is happy to announce that it has been selected by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for the Chief Information Officer – Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) Small Business Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) to provide IT services and IT services-based solutions. SBD will provide services that include, but are not limited to, health and biomedical-related IT services to meet scientific, health, administrative, operational, managerial, and information management requirements.
The CIO-SP3 Small Business contract is a multiple award, 10-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a $60B ceiling, that enables federal government agencies to purchase information technology platforms and professional services. CIO-SP3 Small Business gives federal agencies access to small businesses providing integrated IT solutions for current and evolving government needs. Further, CIO-SP3 Small Business allows for the application of technology to meet business goals including the ability to stay on the forefront of emerging IT services.

The CIO-SP3 Small Business contract has already earned “best-in-class” status for comprehensive information technology services by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). The CIO-SP3 Small Business contract demonstrates the National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center’s (NITAAC) commitment to supporting the small business community, while helping federal agencies achieve their small business goals and objectives, including the Department of Defense (DoD).
